Let's start by analyzing its original components.
"PU" in Chinese means polyurethane, short for polyurethane.
It is a general term for macromolecular compounds whose main chain contains repeating urethane groups.
It is a polyurethane material formed by the addition polymerization of organic diisocyanates or polyisocyanates with dihydroxy or polyhydroxy compounds.
It has a wide range of applications and can replace rubber, plastics, nylon, etc.
It has the following characteristics:
(1) Long service life, reducing costs
(2) Temperature resistance from -20°C to 120°C
(3) Polyurethane products are pollution-free, non-toxic, and odorless.
It is now widely used in airports, hotels, building materials, automobile factories, coal mines, cement plants, high-end apartments, villas, landscape beautification, colored stone art, parks, etc.
From the perspective of raw materials, PU stone is more like a cross-border new material, applying familiar materials to decoration materials that restore the appearance of real stone. In terms of process, the raw materials are pressed using molds, and coloring is applied within the molds.
Typically, 2-4 molds are developed for the same type of PU stone appearance.
All molds are modeled after real stone to achieve a more realistic splicing effect.
The surface is then sprayed with a water-based, environmentally friendly, waterproof coating for exterior walls for protection.
