Step 1: Wall Preparation

Clean: Wipe away dust, grease, and loose particles from the wall.

Dry: Ensure the wall is completely dry to guarantee strong adhesive bonding.

Check: Use a spirit level to check flatness. Minor bumps can be ignored, but major unevenness must be chipped away.

Step 2: Measuring & Cutting

Measure the wall height and width accurately.

Mark the cutting lines on the back of the carbon crystal board.

Cut the board using a circular saw or a heavy-duty utility knife (score and snap).

Step 3: Applying Adhesive

Apply heavy-duty structural adhesive (or polyurethane construction adhesive) to the back of the panel.

Apply the glue in a zigzag/S-pattern or in dots spaced about 15–20 cm (6–8 inches) apart. Leave a 2 cm gap around the edges to prevent glue from squeezing out.

Step 4: Mounting the Panels

Place the bottom edge of the board against the floor/skirting guideline.

Press the board firmly against the wall from bottom to top.

Use a rubber mallet and a wooden block to gently tap the surface, ensuring the glue spreads evenly and bonds securely.

Optional but recommended: Drive a few air nails along the tongue/groove edge where they will be hidden by the next panel for immediate mechanical hold while the glue cures.

Step 5: Interlocking & Repeating

Insert the tongue of the next panel into the groove of the installed panel.

Slide it tightly to minimize the seam line.

Repeat the gluing and pasting process for the remaining panels.
