What is WPC Wall Panel?
WPC wall panel (wood-plastic composite wall panel) is a new type of building material made from a blend of wood fiber and thermoplastic plastic. Its core material ratio is typically: 60% wood flour/bamboo flour + 30% polyethylene/polypropylene + 10% additives. This combination retains the texture and feel of wood while possessing the waterproof properties of plastic, essentially giving wood a plastic raincoat, solving the problem of traditional wood's susceptibility to decay.

 

The Dual Nature of Performance

Environmental Advantages: Uses recycled plastics and agricultural and forestry waste; no formaldehyde release during production.

Durability: 80% better moisture resistance than solid wood; can last over 10 years outdoors.

Limitations: May experience slight deformation in high-temperature environments; toughness decreases at extreme low temperatures.

 

Selection Guide

• Humid Areas: Prefer WPC with a PE substrate for superior waterproofing.

• Areas with Strong Sunlight: Choose darker colors with added UV stabilizers.

• Areas with Large Temperature Differences: PP substrate models with a lower coefficient of thermal expansion are recommended.

• Decorative Needs: Surface coating processes can simulate various wood grain effects such as teak and walnut.
